In nominee Dei Amen: The 23th day of September in 
anno Domini (1637) I Kathren Cloage sicke of bodie, 
but of good and perfect memorie (God be praised) 
doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament 
in manner and forme followinge, that is to say 
First, I commend my soule into the hands of God my 
Creator: hopeinge assuredly through the onely merits 
of Jesus Christ my Saviour to be made partaker of 
life everlastinge: And I commend my bodie to the earth, 
whereof it is made, and to be buried in the parish 
Church or Churchyard of St Lonan:  
Item, I leave to the poore one yeard of russet cloath:  
Ittm to my sister Mareatt Cloage a petticotte:  
Ittm, to Kathren Ke[e/r]win 1 double ban,  
Ittm I leave to Kathren Moore for my winddinge sheet, 
1 apran 1 hand charcser  
Ittm to Janie Moore 1 whescotte:  
Ittm it is my will that my sone Phillip Quile shall 
be my lawfull executor of all my goods movable and 
unmovable.  And I utterly revoke and adnull every 
other former testaments wills legacies in any wise 
befor named willed or bequeathed.
