This is affirmed to be the last will and 
testamt of Bessy Kewly who departed this liffe as 
afforesd: First she committed her soule to God and her 
body to Chrian buriall. Itt, to the poore j boule of 
malt and ij fir: wheat to be paid by her son Willm 
and the rest att the discrecian of her execr. Itt, to her 
sonne Willm Cowine her part of the Intackes her halfe 
of the plough & her halfe of the crope of corne to 
be sowen by her execr to him the sd: Willm Itt, to her 
daughters maried j cow apiece or one heifer apiece 
if they were but one yeare old that they shall not re=
fuse them. Itt, to her three childen ynmnarried her part 
of St Nicholas Croft. Itt, to her daughter Elizabeth 
j heiffer. Itt, to Mariott Kewly j heiffer, j coate, some 
shirte. Itt, my nephew Jony Cowine j sheep. Itt, to my 
nephew Phillip Nelson j sheep. Itt, to Sr Jo: Moore 
j mutton. Itt, to Phillip Skillicornes children 
& Phillip Knaells children one follower. Itt, to Robt 
& Phillip Cowine 2 calves & one younge filly 
two yeares old. Itt, constituted & ordained her 3 
children Phillip Robt and elizabeth Cowine her
true and lawfull execr of all her goodes moveable 
and unmoveable.
