28 Marowne The last will & testament of John Kermott, wch departed his life the 9th day of August 1637, who left to the poore att discretion of the executr. Item, Left to his wife halfe the horse. Item, Left to his sonne Oats Kermot be much of the crope of corne, as his sonne Robt had formarly taken away, viz: the third part & a yonge goate; To the vicr a kide. Willed his three unmarried children co executors of all the rest of his goods & his sonne Robt Supervisor. Testes: Wm: Oats vicr, Finloe Kermot. 12d. Ellin Kermott one of ye execr is dead & ye church hath decreed her brothers & sisters Administrs. Decretu est et Solvit 2s. An invent of the goods of Jo: Kermot, valewed by sworne men viz: Patr Kelly, Gilbt Clucas, Phillip Quillam, & Nicho: Karran. Imprimis, all the household stuffe whatsoever valeued unto 26s 4d; Item, 1 care, 1 paire of creels[?] 3d; In sheep & muttn 6 12s; 3 lambs 3s; 5 goats & 2 kids 11s; 1 cowe 22s; 1 steare 13s; 1 oxe bullocke 7s 6d; 1 old horse 6s; 1 calfe 2s; his part of the geese 8d. Summ: 5pounds 2s 8d. His part of ye crope being 40 stoakes of oats. The execr are at lawful yeares & have bound themselves in ye penalty of double ye valew & to keepe the office harmlesse. Robt Kermott ye 20 of October entereth his claime agt ye execr of Jo: Kermott for a piece half mutton, 5s 8d
