In nominie Dei amen  May ye 9th, I Jony Cloage 
sice in body but whole in mind & perfect memory 
make my will as followeth.  
Imprimus, I committ my soule to God & my body to the grave.  
It, to [the poo]re a firlett of malt & di[half] firlet oat ----[in fold].  
It to my mother a cherchiefe.  It to ---[fold] 
servant wench a coate.  It, to my eldest -----[hidden in fold] 
my part of ye house & croft, & if he 
dye before he come to yeares of discretion, 
that then it return to ye next eldest boy, 
& if that child dye to ----[fold] 
other.  Also my will is that the child late that my ----[fold] 
of the house & garden shall give xxs[20s] in money
