James Savage, being a stranger/foreigner, requested a court hearing and the conclusion was that John Hendricks' claims were groundless, and that Hendricks had given up his right to Christopher Fitzsimons 'in consideration of his instruction in the hands of a hatter' and James Savage offered to bring in testimony that John Hendricks' father went by the name of Whipps.
