The last will and testamt of William Cannell who departed this 
life the 4th of 10ber 1642.   first he bequesthed his soule to 
God and his bodie to Christian buriall.   Itm, he left to the poor 
1 firlett of malt 1 firlett of oate meale 2 sheepe.   Itm, he left 
to William Cloage 1 haifer 1 colt halfe a horse 3 sheep and 
his part of the cropp of corne where he lived he givinge 
the excer 10 stoockes rye the next harvest.   Itm, he left to 
Robt Cloage his part of the cropp of corne that was in his own 
hand and 1 haiffer and halfe a horse.   Itm, he left to his wife -----[edge] 
Wm & Robt Cloage his part of the household stuffe they givinge 
to the execr 3 yards of cloath.   Itm, he left to Elizabeth -----[torn edge] 
1 calfe 1 sheepe.   Itm, he left to Ellin Quine 1 sheepe.   Itm, he 
left to John faile 1 sheep halfe a calfe.   Itm, to Ewan Christian -----[torn edge]

Boy 6d and to her brother 6d, and did constitude and ordaine 
William Cannell his true and lawfull execr of all his goods moveable 
and unmoveable.
