Archdeacon Will 1642A #56 Andreas will of John Draughton / Daughton, dated 28 October 1642:      
Summary: wife is alive, granddau Alice Garrett, son in law William Garrett [married Catharine Draughton, she predeceased him, & he remarried Isabel 
Martin, he died 1669, his will ArW 1668A #86 Andreas], also: John Keneen, witnesses: James Moore & William Cristian, NOTE, that Draughton morphed from 
Duaughton/ Daughton, and in 1602 was recorded as 'Gheghtoon' by the scribe of John's mother's will, EpW 1603E #092 Andreas.
?Wife: Episcopal wills books 1647-1650 Andreas, will of Jane Dougharty/Daugherty alias Corlett.
?Will of mother: EpW 1602E #097 Andreas will of Joney Teare alias Daughton/Daughton alias Teare, died late 1601 or early 1602: 1st? husband xxxx Teare, 
2nd? husband xxxx Duaghton/Daughton/Draughton is not mentioned, dau Bahie Teare, son Robert Teare, son & executor John Gheghton/Duaughton/Draughton, 
also: William Brew, Gilbert Kelly & wife,  John Teare  NOTE, 'John McGheghtoone', per Liber Vastarum & Archdeacon wills [1642A #56 Andreas of John & ArW 
1668A #86 Andreas], the surname of 'McGheghtoone' appears to have morphed into Duaughton and then to Draughton.
?Relative:  Onchan parish register:  Manish (or Inanish) Draghton buried 11 November 1648. 
Self & son in law & granddau: 1644 Liber Vastarum, Andreas: Intacks: John Duaughton had rent on a parcel of intack land of 4d rent, & in 1644, his [son 
in law] William Garrett & [granddau] Alice Garrett were entered in 1644 for the 2d rent by right of marriage with the [illegitimate] daughter [Catharine 
Draughton/Duaughton/Daughton] of John Duaughton. 
Will of son in law:  ArW 1668A #86 Andreas will of William Garrett, died 18 April 1669: 1st wife Catharine Draughton 
(bastard dau of John Draughton), 2nd wife Isabel Martin: dau Alice Garrett, son John Garrett.
Son in law & ?:  1691 Composition Book, Andreas #52:  William Garrett was entered for / compounded for land in 1643, 
and in 1691, Patrick Garrett was the tenant with lives in being expired.
Son in law & ? & nephew of William's 2nd wife: 1691 Composition Book, Andreas #53: William Garrett was entered for / compounded for land in 1643, 
& in 1691, Patrick Garrett was the tenant with lives in being John Martin aged 60 years [born about 1631], who was dead by 1704.

28th off October 1642: This is the last will & testamt of Jo: Draughton as followeth: first his so-----[edge] to God & his body to Christian buriall. Itt, to his wiffe 1 blanket ye roofe a litle house & a doore & a locke. Itt, to Jo: Keneen one quarter of a swine. Itt, he constituted his grandchild Alice Carrett his true & lawfull execr of all the rest of his goodes moveable & unmoveable & if she did dy under age, then he constituted his sonn in Law Willm Ca-----[edge] execr. Itt, to Jo: Ge Kee dj hoge. Testes Jam: Moore pbatu est & Solvit 4d Wm Xtian jurati Invent taken by sworne men & ye debts dischardged doth amount to 5s - 4d wch debt was payed in ye Lords rent & Church due.
