Archdeacon Will 1644A #62 Braddan of Margaret Cannell als Jemser / Gemsay, died 3 April 1645: Summary: husband Gilbert Cannell, only dau Jane Cannell. Braddan bur reg: Margt Canell bur 2 Apr 1645. NOTE, Margaret's maiden surname is spelled 'Jemser', but could also have been miswritten, and could be 'Gemsay'.
Aprill ye 3th 1645 Mrgrett Jemser alias Cannell sicke in bodie but whole in mynd & of pfect memory praysed bee God doe make my last will & testamt as followeth first I comitt my Soule to God & bodie to Christian buriall; It I bequeath to my onely daughter Jaine together wth her goods if any bee remaining after debts dischardge to my husband Gilbt: Cannell Gilbt: Cannell ye husband hath sworne in ye face of Court that there is noe Debtles goods to be inventoryed for ye child Jane Cannell yet he hath undertaken to relieve & maintained ye sd Jane duringe her wonay[?] halfe ye crop of corne 1 read peticoat & a sheep
