Archdeacon Will 1647A #24 Braddan will of Catharine Moore alias Joyner, died June 1647,  inventory dated 8 February 1647/8:

Vinch wife of Henry Vinch, pledges: Mr Robert Calcott vicar & Philip Moore.
Onchan parish register:  Catherine Moore buried 5 June 1647.
Husband: Braddan parish register:  Edward Moore de Duglas buried 21 July 1667, Episcopal will.
?Husband & father in law: 1636 Liber Vastarum, Douglas: Thomas Moore had cottages in Douglas of 12d rent, 
and in 1636 his son Edward Moore of Kk Marown was entered for them.
?Husband & father in law: 1636 Liber Vastarum, Douglas: Thomas Moore had cottages in Douglas of 6d rent, 
and in 1636 his son Edward Moore of Kk Marown was entered for them.
?Husband: 1637 Liber Vastarum, Douglas: John Kelly had cottages in Douglas of 7d rent, and in 1637 they went to Edward Moore by virtue 
of a bill of sale from Margaret Kelly (who had it from John Kelly) in payment of her debts to Edward.

I Katherine Joyner als Moore, wife to Edward Moore of Duglas glover being sick in bodie, but of perfect minde and memorie (praised be God) doe make this my last will and testamt in maner and forme following, vidett, ffirst I doe bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighetie God &c. Item I doe give and bequeath unto my husband one heffer out of my part and share of goods duely belonging to me. Item I doe give and bequeath unto my sonne Phillip Moore all the rest of my poart or share of goods to be kept by my father and mother to my sayd sonne use Ane that my sayd father and mother shall have the tuition and bringing upp of my sayd sonne dureing his minoritie. And my will is that if my sayd sonne shall die dureing his minoritie, That then my sayd father and mother shall have and enioy the sayd goods of my sayd sonne to their owne use for---- without any interruption. And I doe further (not withstanding) given and bequeath to my stepp=sonne Edward Moore 2s ster:, to my stepp=sonne William Moore six pence ster:, and to William Tate my sayd husbands Apprentice 1s ster: And I doe further leave and bequeath unto my sayd sonne Philipp two pounds and a halfe of linnen yearne and flaxe to make shirt for him.
