ummoveable & a legacy to the wife upon sight of the Inventory. The next of kin on the mothers side vizt Wm Cowle and Mary Cowle supervisors. Jon Kinley in 
behalf of his wife is sworn supervisor Decretum est et solvit vid suo jure tamen vincuig. Inventory praised according to law amounts to  £00 : 16 : 03 
Debts to be deducted on the deads part £00 : 07 : 06. The children with their goods are in the mothers custody and given pledges Edw: Curlett & Wm 
Sayle. William Clerk, Receipt, 1689 Received from Bahee Lawson in full of the portion due to my brother Wm Clerk by ye death of his deceased mother 
[Catharine Clark alias Key died 1675, ArW 1675A #067] the sum to thirty shillings & seven pence and this by vertue of a letter of assignment undr my sd 
brothers hand and do therefore acquit and discharge the sd Bahey & her deceased husband [Thomas Clark, who is the brother of William Clark, married Bahie 
Lawson in 1677] and their heirs, exectrs and Admons for ever of ye same as witness my hand the 6th day of March 1689 William Clerk. The above sum of thirty 
shillings seven pence being ye whole due to ye above Thom Clerk is pd & discharged before me Jon Christian  --transcribed by Brian Lawson, 2001.

1654 KK Christ The last will and testament of Ric: Lawson which departed this life the ye 16th of January 1654 Bequeathed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial etc. Itm he bequeathed to his daughter vj [6] sheep out of the whole.
