Archdeacon Will 1656A #28 Jurby will of Thomas Callow, buried 24 May 1656, dated 23 April 1656, he has a close at Gollane: 
Summary: 1st wife Ann Callow alias Freer died 1642 & made a will, 2nd wife Margaret Callow alias Quayle is alive, no children were mentioned [children 
Robert & Bahie & John predeceased him], brother & executor William Callow, sister & executrix Ann Callow, sister & executrix Catharine Callow, nephew John 
Callow, niece Ann Callow, mother in law Averick Quayle alias Quayle, Bahie Callow, sisters in law Isabel & Joney Freer, also:  Phinlo Freer [children 
Thomas & Isabel & Christian] entered a claim, William Freer of Jurby owed 40s; witnesses: William Crowe & William Callister & Nicholas Cowley, pledges: 
William Callister & Ewan Killip.

Aprill the 23th 1656 (28) In the name of God Amen I Tho: Callow sicke in bodie but whole in minde, of good & pfect memorie praysed be God for it, doe make my will & testamt: in mannr & forme followinge first I bequeath my soule to Almightie God who created and redeemed me, and my bodie to Xtian buri all Itm: to ye poore 1 boule mault, dj fir: wheate, 1 fir: oate meale & two muttons at Alhallowtide, and 1 firlett oate meale, and 4s to be bestowed in beere the night yt I shalbe lodged[?] Itm: I bequeath to Wm: Calister the house yt he lives in and seaven buts of ground after my decease dureing his naturall life, if he stay & live there, and the grassing of a cow in ye close at Gollane, if he have a cow, but if he have not a cowe, he hath libertie to sett ye cowes grassing to another, and he to give foure days ----[torn edge] to fence or trench about the sd close.
