Januarie the first 1658 In the name of God amen. Willm Sayle sick in body but whole in mind & of perfect memorie (thanks be to God) doe make my last will & testament & mannor & forme followinge ffirst I bequeath my soule into the hands of allmighte God & my body to Christian buryall. Itm I leave to the poore a firlott of mault, & wt else is needefull therewith: Itm I leave to my brother John Sayle my best suite of a parree stockins & shoes: Itm I leave to the mnister Sr Joh: a mutten: Itm I leave to my sonn Willm my part of the crope of corne healff the teame of oxen & all my inter est in wt goods belonge to the working of the Lands: Itm I leave to my daughter Catherin six pounds in moneys or money worth. Itm I leave my daughter Mally to her mothers discretions & shee to give her said daughter wt shee think good: Itm I constitute & ordaine my wife Catherin Daughertie my lawfull executrix of all the rest of my goods movable & unmovable whatsoever. 17th June 1659 Testes John: Christian X } forasmuch as Mally hath not Collum Crenilt X } iurati left her by this will 6d nor ye value therof therefore ye Court hath ordained the sd Mally jointe exec wth the mother who is sworne The mother hath resigned her interest in the executorship to her sd daughter Mally in the face of the Court, & is accepted of.
