   Granddau: Dorothy: Maughold parish register: Dorat: Christian als Allen buried 3 Dec 1689. Married John Christian of Ramsey.
Self & son: William Harrison, Diocese of Sodor & Man: Vicars of Maughold: Thomas Allen, appointed June 5,1666, on the death of Robert Allen. Died, and 
buried 11th March 1726, age 83. Vicar of this parish 60 years, having succeeded his father and grandfather. His funeral sermon was preached by Bishop 
Wilson. Sermon 98. NOTE, Robert is the Testator, Thomas is his son.
Son: IOM FHS MI, Maughold: Thomas Allen, vicar of this parish 60 years, having succeeded his father and grandfather as such, buried March 11th, 1726, 
age 83.
Son: AW Moore, Old Manx Families 1889: Thomas (b 1643, ob 1726) ... was Vicar for 60 years. His funeral sermon was preached by Bishop Wilson, who made the 
following reference to him in his diary: 'March 8, 1726: Mr.Thomas Allen, having been vicar above sixty years, died, aged 83, and has left a good name 
behind him, having been a diligent pastor, of a serious, grave, sober behaviour, kind to his neighbours & to the poor, & very hospitable to all others."  
In the following year, his son [sic, nephew] Henry* was appointed to succeed him.  He had been Vicar of Lezayre 1713-14, & of Maughold from 1727-1746 (b. 
1677, ob 1746). Henry's brother John was appointed Vicar of Michael in 1734, but died in the following year and was buried at Maughold. [*Maughold Parish 
Register lists Henry,born 1677, as son of Samuel, brother of the said Thomas. Thomas had no children listed in Maughold Parish Register, where he was Vicar

underage (in Ireland by 1701), dau Margaret underage, supervisors: brother Mr Thomas Allen [vicar of Maughold for 60 years], brother Robert Allen, brother 
in law Robert Christian [married 1687 to Catharine Allen], brother in law Thomas Corlett [general sumner, married 1688 to Isabel Allen], mother [Jane] 
Allen [alias Radcliffe] is alive, pledges: Robert Christian & Robert xxxx.
son Francis in Ireland: 1679 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: Daniel Corkill had farmland of 20 1/4d rent in Ballure quarterland, and was living in Ireland, and 
sold the farmland to Francis Allen & his wife, who also were now living in Ireland, and they sold the farmland to Ewan Kerruish, who was entered for the 
20 1/4d rent in 1679.  NOTE, Francis was born 1648 to Sir Robert Allen & Jane Radcliffe.

I Robert Allen vicar of KK Maughall, weake and ffeeble in Body, but whole & pfect in minde (praised bee God) doe make this my last will and Testamt: in manner and fforme ffollowing: Imprs: I committ and commende my soule to God my Creator & Redeemer, and my Body to Christian Buriall Itm: I leave to the poore at ye discretion of ye executrix I leave to each one of my children (sones & daughters) ten shillings apeice as legacies I constitute, and ordaine my wife Jane Executrix of all the rest of my goods movable & unmovable wtsoever Lands, houses, &c, pvided that if my sd wife doe marry, that then shee shall bee accomptable to my sd children for my sd goods according to Inventory.
