Aprl ye 24th 68

In_ amen Will Carrett sick in body but whole
& of perfect memorie thanks be to god do make this my last will
in manner, & form following: first I comit my soul_
of allmightie god & my body to Christian buryall.. Itm_
poore a firlet of malt at all hallatide & what else is needful and has _.
wife desirous..?.. Itm I leave to my eldest son, & soe from each?
one if he dye yt he pay to each of my children 10 shs a piece
considerations there of. I leave unto him all my crofts
with the gears? (to which the wife gave consent) & ordained
him only Exectr of all the rest of my goods whatsoever
Itm I leave to my wife my part of the _ and the chest
Itm I leave her also my interest in the farme land I bought
& she to give it to my eldest daughter if she desired
it & she to enjoy her own half of all crofts & houses during her
life if she marry not: note t? his second daugr portion was thus
nominated before y wife: also he ins..lled before Joh Sayle with
Will Sayle & Joh Keneen th yr remainder of his meale & com_
feeding should be to maintaine & bring up my children: to y jo..?

pledges secunda forma legis sub poena dubbly valued

2s 6p to Will Sayle in his portion 5s for his
burying 1s for probate 1s

acknowledge to have recd from Patrick Carrett the 10s due to her
_ . last will of her father and doth acquit him of the same_

.._witnesses present when Will Garrett upon his death bed
_rdered that he and his wife was to pay by contract to Will Sayle
with his daughter Margory in portion 2 blankets and a sheet a sheep
& lamb & a heifer of a year old & 10s in money, & if his said
daughter dept ys life without offspring? that yt his daughter's portion
was to return to his other children.
