KK Maughall 1670 This is affirmed to be ye last will and testamt. of Marriott Corkle als Martin who depted this life about ye first of Octobr. being in sound & pfect memory, who first Comitted her Soule to God, & her body to Christian burriall, Itt. Shee bequeathed to her Eldest daughtr Margt. Corkle all her pt of Lands what soever, with her pt of all ye geares belonging, and her husband gave consent to give his pt of all ye aforesd, as well of ye lands as the rest of ye afore named & [houses] after his own decease, more over shee bequeathed unto her, one bowle of barley, and if the Eldest daughter accepted not of this, then that shee should have but her pt of ye Execrship with ye rest, and ye next Eldest daughtr to Enjoy ye aforesd lands, and implemts. but if the Eldest daughtr accepted of it, then shee left the rest of her Children [Execrs] Vtz. of all her goods movable & unmovable whatsoever only [C C &] to ye youngest daughtr Grace Corkle above ye rest, Itt. Shee said there was some cloath in England to be Coloured, her pt of wch shee left to her 2 Eldest daughtrs. Margt. and Alice, and left his own pt to her husband to bestow upon them if hee pleasd.
