KK Maughold 1675
In the name of god amen; Katharen Lawson
sick in body but whole in mind and perfitt memory
who departed this life about the fourth of
December 1675: maketh this her last will and
teastament as followeth. She committed her soule
to allmighty god & her body to christian buryall.

Item She left to her daughter Margarett a white
blanked and a sheet and 4d and all her close
both lenen and wolleng except a red petticoate &
& a harfe chaser to her daughter in law Elisabeth
Kewen.

Item She left to her sone Ewan Churhey :3: halfs
ferletts of meale corne and what barly was due
to him from her sonne John also all yt she
brought to Kirke Maughold wt her to Ewan
except her close aforesaid to her daughter and
Ewan to give unto her two sones Robt and Thomas
Churghey halfe a ferlet apiece of ye meale corne
aforesaid. Item she left to her 3: sons Robt
Thomass and Thomass :6d: a poore legasy

Item She left two sheep for her funerall

Item She left and bequeathed her husband Ewan
Churghey and her sone John her true and
lawfull executors of all ye rest of her goods
movebale and immoveable wt forever.

Tho Curghy ..... entered his claim against ye exctrs of Kath Lawson
for the
sum of forty shillings due debts
