In the Index of Archdeacon Wills, this will is erroneously listed under Marown, but is actually the next Andreas will in the book of wills.


This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
John Keneene who departed this life the 4th of March 1675, 
who first committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.  
Item, he left to the poor at the discretion of his executor.  
Item, he left xxxx to his grandchild Cathe: Ratcliffe a ewe.  
Item, to Ann Garrett a ewe.  
Item, xxxx Sir Joh: Huddleston a mutton, and his part of the young calf.  
Item, he constituted and ordained his daughter and his grandchild 
Ann Ratcliffe joint executors of all the rest of his goods 
whatsoever, and ordained his kinsman Joh: Ratcliffe supervisor 
of his said grandchild, and he to have the custody of her and her 
xxxx come to 16 years of age.  and left him the xxxx of land which he 
xxxxx from his father for 14s as a legacy.

Further he willed the next day that his said grandchild to have 
in present possession his part of the land xxxx enjoyed, and the 
supervisor to sow it with xxxxx if her mother would not sow it 
jointly, then xxxxx to have her own part and xxxxx.

John xxxxx.  The codicil not yet proved.            
The Inventory of the said Testator prized by Pat Cormod, Willm Kee, 
John Wah xxxxx, being sworn, amounts to 2 pounds xx shillings xx pence.        
The goods of the child in the custody of the supervisor 
who have given pledges in form of law 
Willm Rafcliffe his brother & James Crebbin.

the Inventory of Donll: Corlett taken & prized by 
4 sworn men vizt Donll Sayle, Charles Joughin, & 
xxxxxx, amounts to 1 pound 15 shillings 0 pence.

Inventory Cathe: Joughin wife to Willm Corkill prized 
by 4 sworn men vizt, Joh Joughin, xxxxx Christian, 
& Tho: Clark, & Robt Killey, amounts to 2 pounds 2 shillings 6 pence.
