In the Index of Archdeacon Wills, this will is erroneously listed under Marown, but is actually the next Andreas will in the book of wills.


Andreas, about 12 November 1675: 

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of John Cormod, who committed his soul to God and 
his body to Christian burial.  
Item, he willed and bequeathed his part of the lands to his xxxx son Edmond Cormod.  
Item, he constituted & xxxx his children vizt, John Edmond 
Maryod & Bahee Cormod joint executors of all the rest of his goods 
whatsoever.  
Further he declared tht he lent a pair of looms to John Casement & his sone, 
and whatsoever sticks ye said looms wanted he was to make it good and send 
it home whole without any  want at May last.  
In regard there is no supervisors named the Court have ordered the next 
of kin on the father's side supervisors Pat Cormod is sworn & Wllm, Cathe, 
& Margt are to be sworn or xxx xxxxxxx their acct Sunday to be performed.  
Testes: 
Willm. Christian } 
Jony Gowne       } jurati.     Probatum et solvit 6d.          

The Inventory to be brought in by the supervisors 
within 14 days sub peona 10sxxxxx.           

The Inventory of John Cormod given by the wife 
and John Kerxxxx ye prized upon oath amounts to in all 18 shillings.  
All in the hands of the supevisors except a pot and a xxx corbs 
in the mothers' hands and the more[?] except[?].   
The said Inventory given in 6 xxxx the supervisors 
amounts to 17 shillings xx pence.  
10 pottles of barley, 1 bowle and a half fir oak & 3 yards of white cloth; 
& in the mother's hand 9s xxd; the dead's part of old loomes:  not prized.
In the custody of Willm Cormod 4s 3d, and in the hands of Pat, Cath, & Margt 
Cormod 5s xxd besides the debts by them.  
Pledges Pat: Cormod and Cathe Cormode & xxxxx xxxxxx.        
debts to be deducted to the 2 moars 3 s, 
to the old moare 4s 8d, 
to Pat Cormod xxxx,

October 1681: 
John Cormod at lawful age doth acknowledge the 
receipt of 3 yards of cloth from Danl: Cormod
