28 This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Jony Sayle who departed this the 4th of Feb: 1675, being in good and perfect memorie, committed her soul to God & her body to Christian burial. Item, she left to ye poor at the discretion of her Executor. Item, she left to her son John Sayle 2s legacie. Item, she left to her daughter Bahey Sayle 2s legacie & as much red cloath as was in the house unshapen. Item, she left her part of ye Lands she redeemed unto her son John Sayle. Item, she left to her daughter Margt 1s legacie and what shapen linens she had in the house betwixt her the said Margt and the said Bahey, & the Executor to put her daughter Margt out with linen & cloathing as would be needful for her. Item, she left her son William 1s legacie, and to her son Phillip 1 s. Item, to her daughter Ales a laughton weskcott, & a blue coat and red petticoat to her daughter Margt. Item, she left one calf betwixt her grandchildren Margt Sayle & Philip Brew. Item, she constituted and ordained her loving husband sole Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable and he to decide her part of goods amongst thxxx her children as he best thinks fit. Item, to her grandchild William Sayle a coat. Item, to Sir J. Huddleston a mutton, & to each witness 6d apiece. Testes: Cathe: Christian, Jony Kneele, jurati. The Executor sworn in Court in form of law. Probatum et solvit 12d. 14 days for ye Inventory. Pledges in form of law Tho: Clarke. The Inventory of the said Jony Sayle given in by ye Executor amounts to 3 pounds 11 shillings 0 pence. December 18th 167x: Phillip Sayle enters his claim against ye Executor of Jony Sayle for ye sum of 10s 6d due &ct. December 21, 1676: Kathe: Knele enters her claim against ye Executor of Jony Sayle for ye sum of 25s due moneys & craveth tryal.
