Wm Cowle Shellague departed this life about the 22 of Janu: intestate 
whereof the Church having intelligence hath decreed his son Charles 
Cowle his true and lawful administrator who is at lawful years and a 
legacy to the wife upon sight of the Inventory. 
Salvo xxxx vincing suoxxxx.  
Pledges Samuell Xtn, Wm Kaighin, second in forman legis.       
The Administrator sworn in Court in form of law and also the mother.   
Decretum et solvit 2s.

The Inventory of William Cowle Shellage senior prized by 4 sworm men 
vizt., Ro:Moore, Joh: Moore, Joh:Cotter & William Knele as followeth: 
The Inventory of the said testator comes to 	15 pounds 3 shillings 8 pence.  
item, part of the fishing boat with all necessaries 
belonging to the boat are prized to 	1:15:00.  
And the corn vizt, the 4th part is to be added before May:, 
and a certain number of herrings.  
Item, th deads part of ye moneys is	25:10:00
and in mortgage of a piece of land in the Gary	01:10:00
out of which deduct for funeral charges and other church dues 
with servant wages 01 pounds 01 shillings 02 pence, 
so your remainder to be added to ye Inventory in all free  & debtless	24:03:8
for ye xxxxx	01:09:10.
The goods of William Cowle senior in the custody of the Administrator 
who is at lawful years and have given pledges in form of Law 
William Cowle & Samuel Christian.  
It there be any more forgotten that is here given he to add to ye Inventory before May next.

May ye 14th 1676: more added by the wife in sheep though not prized yet in number  ------ 13
