50           Bride 1775: 
In noie dei amen.  I Isabel Quarke sick in body but whole 
in mind and perfect memory praised be God for the same do 
make my last will and testament as followeth.  
Imprimis I commit my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.  
Item, I leave to the poor a bowle of corne, a sheep & 2 goose.  
Item, I leave to each of my children one shilling apiece legacy.  
Item, I leave to my two married daughters as much of there 
portion as is unpaid,, which the executor of my will knows of.  
Item, I leave to Willam Cotter my grandchild 1s. 
Item, I leave to the parson a mutton.  
Item, I constitute and ordain my daughter Ann Cotter my true and 
lawful Executor of all the goods that my son left me in his will 
as also of my own whatsoever moveable and unmoveable, & to pay 
all such legacies as is by me bequeathed, to see me honestly buried 
& to see my will truly performed.  
Last, I do appoint my son John Cotter & Samuel Xtian my son in law 
to assist my executor in all her concerns as much as in them lies.

Note ye crop of corn and half the geese belonging to husband 
and ye quarter of the boat is to be prized for the executor 
and added to the Inventory within 14 days. sub poena &c, 
and what increase may be had.   

The goods in ye Executors custody and have given pledges 
in form of law Willm Cowle & Nicho: Moore.
