53      Bride
This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of Patr:Cowle 
junior who committed his soule to God and his bodye to Xtian burial.  
Imprimis, to the poore dim[?] firlet meale and what more his Executor saw need.  
Item, to his sister Kath:Cowle 2s 6d.  Item, to Wm Cowle his brother 2s xxx.  
Item, to sam:Xtin 1s.  Item, to Wm Xtin 1s.  
Item, to Wm Cowle senior 1s.  Item to this parson 1 mutton. 
Item, to NIcho:Moore 6d.  Item, to his father  5s.  
Item to the witnesses of his will 6d apiece.  
Item, to his sister Xtian at Shellay 1s.  
Item, hee affirmed that he payd his father for the cattle that was betwixt them. 
Item, he left to his only son Pat:Cowle one quarter and a halfe of the 
crop of corn and his part of the teame as they were on the draught with 
all mxxxx geare belonging to husbandry.  
Item, he left his said son the ryding horse & his part of a gray horse 
also to his son a farrow cow.  
Item, he left xxx son also of the fishing boate with a paire of nette 
of the best, also to xxx son xxxx hemp as would make 20 fathom of net.  
Item, to his said son xxx their bed with clothes.  
Item, he willed to his sd son all the land that was in his xxx 
both Intack and quarter land.  
Item, hee willed that if it please God that his son dye of xxx 
sickness that then the daughter that was the heir should have 
all things as he left his son and that daughter should have no 
part of his Executorship, but all xxx shall xxxx to his youngest daughter.  
Item, he constituted his 3 daughters, vizt., Kath: Anne & Christian Cowle 
the true and lawfull Executrices of all the rest of his goods moveable and 
immoveable whatsoever and to see his xxxx xxxx xxxxx 
he willed Wm Cowle his brother & Sam: Xtian supervisors.

1676 January ye 13th: Joh:Quirk enters his claime against 
the Executors of Pat:Cowle junior for 2s 4d due to him in part 
of his wages, as he will make to appear etc.
