The last will and testament of Christian Moore 
als Scarff being of perfect memory. First she 
committed her soul to God and her body to 
Christian burial  
Item, she left to her grandson James Moore one 
sheep and a lamb.  
Item, she left to her daughter Isabel Moore 6d legacy.  
Item, to Sir Tho Thwaites a lamb.  
Item, she left to her dear son Phillp: Moore her 
part of the crop of corn xxxx heir James Moore 
should have his father’s part if he could get it.  
Item, she left to her said son Philip Moore half 
of all her goods.  
Item, she constituted and ordained her daughter 
Ann Moore her true and lawful Executrix of all 
the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable 
whatsoever.  
Item, she declared at her will making that she 
gave delivery of one mare and one young cow to 
her daughter Ann Moore in lieu and consideration 
of her father’s goods vix, forty shillings and 
that the said Ann did willingly accept of the goods.  
Item, she said likewise that her son Phill: hath 
none of her goods but what he paid for.

The Executrix sworn in form of Law.  
Probatum et solvit 6d.          
The Inventory of the said Christian Moore prized 
by 4 sworn men amounts to 11 shillings.  
The goods in her brothers custody and hath given
