      Maughold ye 17 of Febru: 1675 
This is affirmed to be ye last will and testament 
of Ann Costen alias Kirmeene.  
Imprimis, she committed her soul to God, and 
her body to ye grave.  
Item, to her mother a cow in calf being ye same 
that she brought from herself.  
Item, to her husband Jo:Costen a gray horse 
that came from Magher-eechave, a blanket and 
two handcarchieffe.  
Item, to her mother one blanket, and ye web 
in ye weaver’s house.  
Item, to Mary Costen one handcarchieffe, a 
hoode, and ye clother in ye walk milne betwixt 
herself and Jo: Costen her father.  
Item, to Ann Joghin an old petticoate.  
Item, to her mother a new red petticoat.  
Item, to her sister Jony a linen apron of 
two dreadths.  
Item, she bequeathed all ye rest of her wearing 
linens and woolen to her sister Katrine Jony.  
Item, she left to her husband Joh: Costen all 
his own goods without division; and twenty 
shillings and some things which they received 
she left it, as it was.  
Item, to Mary Costen a red petticoate and a 
yallow petticoate.  
Item, to Jo: Kerrish and Jo: Quillease one mutten, 
and appointed her well beloved mother viz., 
Ann Quine her true and lawful Executrix of all ye rest.  
Item, to her sister Jony her sheep.  
Testes: 
Jo: Kerrish, 
Jo: Quillease, jurati.          
In regard there is considerable legasie left 
to the husband, the Court therefore co....es, 
that the above said 20s and several things more 
above mentioned, is to return to ye Executrix.          

The Executrix sworn in form of Law.  
Probatum et solvit 12d.   
Solvo tamen vinceig pro jure     
The Inventory withing 14 days suppoena 20s.           

December 13th
Joh:Costen entereth his claim against the Executris 
of Ann Costen for ye sum of 6s and a gallon of malt 
dispensed at her funeral 2s 8d, and for ... at her 
funeral 1s 4d.  6d for drink and also for 1s 3d in 
money[?] then in the house; and also for 3s due to 
William Kori... whose good .... and custody, and 4d 
in candle at her funeral.  All due debt and craveth tryal.     
Claimed for 2s 8d + 1s 4d + 0s 6d + 1s 3d + 3s 0d + 0s 4d + 0s 4d = 15s 11d.
