1676 a Santon KK Arbory the 2nd of .......... 1676 In the name of god Amen I Christopher Kneale sick & weak in body But whole & perfect in memory praised to God for. I doe make this my last Will and Testament in Manor and form following. First hee committed his Soule to god and his body to Christian Buriall. Itt. hee left to his eldest son John Kneale all his Lands and his part of the horses, and a quarter of the crop of corn. Itt he left upon his son the ............ ........... John that the other brother John the taylor shall have houses ....... ......... wife him while her staying unmaryed only to have the use of the ................ house for himself until her .......... for him .......... Itt hee left to his son John the taylor the 4 part of the .......... corn that grows on the ......... land for 4 years after his death. Itt. he left to his son Will and Ann his Daughter half a calfe with one quarter of the(?) cow betwixt them. Itt. hee left to his loving wife his halfe of the house hold stuffs. Itt hee left to his son Edmon[d] Kneale the croft[crop] which was taken in from the fields and halfe one Calfe of one year old and one shilling in money. Itt he appointed and ordained his 3 children John Will and Ann his Daughter sole executors of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
