Archdeacon Will 1676A #34 Rushen will of William Nelson, dated 8 January 1676/7: Trinity Rushen Jan: 8th 1676/7 The last will and testament of William Nelson who beinge in perfect memory comended his soule to God and his body to Christian buriall; first he left to the poore 1 sive of malt; Itt: to his son William halfe an oxe, wch is to pay him for his mothers goods, & to pay his master; Itt: to my son William & my 2 daughers Margret & Joney, halfe an heiffer, & what sheepe there is remaininge, is to betwixt them three; Itt: I leave a cow to my daughter Margarett for a legasie; Itt: to Katharen Watterson 1 yearelinge; Itt: to my grandchild Margarett Watterson all the pladdinge that is remaininge; Itt: to my son William halfe of the house; and the other halfe I leave to my daughters Margarett and Joney Nelson; Itt: to the minister a mutton or sheepe; Itt: he mentioned debts due to him, from John Gell of Dawbey 3s wch he confessed before Gilbert Gell; from Ed: Posley 6d for a sword, from Dan: Clucas 2d.
