KK Christ Leyayre 1676 The last will and testament of Ewan Kneale who depted this life the 2d day of Janry, being at the same time of his will makeing in good and pfect memory. Imprs: hee comitted his soule to God, and his body to Christian buriall; Itt: hee bequeathed to his daughtr Jony 2 cowes, and to his sone Edmond one cow, Jony to have the first choise, and Edmond the second choise, hee returning to Jony five shillings; Itt: hee bequeathed further to his said daughtr: Jony a bay mayre and colt, his houshould stuffe, and an oxe calfe to her childe. Itt: To his daughtr Christian a blankett, and his sone Edmond to give her a quart of white woole. Itt: To his daughtr: Margt: a gray blankett, and a sheet and the raw cloath that was in the walke miln. Itt: To his sone Robt: sixe shillings sixe pence, that was in his own hands, and his sone Edmond to give him a firlett of barley to that; Itt: hee bequeathed to his sd sone Edmond what sheepe hee had in the ffould, and the cropp of corne & hay, and hee to keepe the above cowes till May; Itt: To John Kneale a wilde sheepe and a hogge.
