May ye 4th 167… Articles of marriage concluded covenanted and agreed upon by and be twixt Patrick Cormoad of the parish of KK Bride in be half of his son John Cormoad ………. one partie and Ewan Corkill in be half of his daughter Mally Corkill on the other partie ……… ………… ffirst it is agreed upon by and be twixt the sd. Patrick Cormoad and Ewan Corkill that their sd. Children (viz) John Cormoad and Mally Corkill shall Enter into the Holy Estate of of matrimony, on [tuesdayy] 19th instant Gods lawe and holy Church permitting The sd.
