Patrick Cormoad and Ewan Corkill that their sd. Children (viz) John Cormoad and Mally Corkill shall Enter into the Holy Estate of of matrimony, on [tuesdayy] 19th instant Gods lawe and holy Church permitting The sd. Patrick Cormoad duly bind himself to give his sone presently after marriage overand above all that is [left] or due to his son [alsoe] by the death of his deceased mothr the part of the one sufficient beaste Cropp of Corn ye .. ^ of the [team of oxen], his part of the plough land the materialls thereunto belonging . His part of the husbandry gears, the young couple returning to the sd. father the sume of twentie Shillings Stirling, and .. the sd. Patrick duly give [the] couple sd. Young ^ the whole Estate of Lands given him [the] sd. Patrick in Contract by his father wth all the mortgage [Land] by him provided that if the same be refused that the young couple shall return him fourtie shillings of wch the Land was mortgaged [forr] Ewan Corkill duly give in [portion] to .. .. sd. daughter all that is due to her by the death of her mother, is an horse of three year old and the two parts of of his goods moveable and unmovable after his death ly If it soe fall .. that the sd. Patrick Cormoad shall return to the lands now granted that the [fourtly] part of land shall be and remain for himself and further wt land is purchased by the sd. Patrick Cormoad in his [latter] days, that if the young couple have a mind therto they shall have it paying onely the price first payd for it in witness of all . The sd. Parties to the sd. Prsents have . their hands and signes and bind themselves in [penaltie] of twentie pounds to maintain all the above covena .
