John Cotter LDS E w 0991643 1678-2 Andreas This is affirmed to be ye last Will & Testament of John Cotter who departed this life about the 16th of September who being in perfect memory committed his soul to God & his body to Xtian= Buriall. It he left to his youngest Daughter his half of all the = utensils of the house, and the half of all the lands wch he had bought Dureing her life, and after her Death to return and Descend to his Daughter Xtian or her issue & in case shee have noe issue to enjoy the sd land that it shall Descend from her to his brother Philip Cotters youngest son Philip Cotter; It he left to his= wife and youngest Daughter the whiteheaded cow as Legacy. Itt he left his sd youngest daughter the use of the little house wch he built Dureing their life. It he left upon his sd wife & youngest Daughter to pay John Lace of Ballafear(?) 3.s to be paid 12.d every year for 3 years. It to his sister Jony Cotter a Gallon of Barley half ye year to be pd by his youngest Daugher and ye other half to be pd betwixt her self & sister yt next year. It he left to Robt. Cotter 3.s to be paid in 3 years time, It he appointed the sd Robt. Cotter & John Lace overseers of his youngest Daughter and they to take care that she sustain no Damage in her goals. It. he left to Jony Lace a red petticote(?) when it would be woven It he left Jo: Lace ye youngest of B........... a pare of Britches It he left to Wm Kneal of Ballaleaney a Dublett and britches and pare of stocking and a quart of Hemp or 16d whether the Executors pleased. It to Jo: Kneal Kneen(?) a Dublett or 4d and lastly appointed his Daughter Christian Cotter Executrix and willed that his wife and youngest Daughter should pay all his Debts and yt his Exectr. should have ye half of 2 steers free.
