Octr: 22d 1678 KK Patrick In the name of God Amen. The last will & Testamt: of John Clucas, sick in body but of perfect memory praise be to God who departed this life the last of October 1678 First he committs his soul to God & his body to Christian buriall. Itm: leaves to the poor a firlet of barley, half a firlet of oat meale, and a mutton. Itm: he leaves to his wife his pt of ye riding horse in a legacie. Itm: he leaves to ye two witnesses of ye will two groates betwixt them. Lastly he doth constitute & appoint his son Phinlo his lawfull executr: of all the rest of his goods moveable & unmoveable, & committs him & all his goods to ye custody & tuition of his mother till he come to one and twenty years of age, and the mother hath consented & promised to give her half of ye Lands to her said son when he comes to ye age aforesd, always provided that if the said don die without Issue then the Lands herein given shall returne to ye next of Kinn on each side according as ye Law provides.
