Feb 2 – 1680 KK Patrick I find in the last Will of Margaret Gell, as follows. It. she leaves to her son John all the Gears belonging to the working of ye Land & her part of the Crop of corn, paying when they come to age only a bowl of Principal corn to her 2 Daughters betwixt them. Lastly, she constituted her three Children Margaret, John & Koonie(?) her Lawful Exrs. of all the rest of her goods moveable & unmoveable, appointing & Desiring(?) Tho: Kenaugh & Gilbt. Kermot overseers, leaving to Tho: Kenaugh a mutton of a year old for his trouble, & to Gilbt. Kermot a peck of Barley. Testes: Tho: Halsey) Probatum est el Solivit 12d Koony Quilliam ) jurati The Supervisors Sworn in Court in form of Law. The total sum of the Inventory ) amounts to ) 04=08=00 Besides some small legacy left to ) her Daughters, some Closes & wheels ) priced to ) 00=08=00 10 June 1681 ......... by the husband) a pott prised to ) 00=01=00 Itm. a quart of wooll wch was made into Clothes for the Children To be Deducted out of ) the Inventory for the ) writing hereof & to the ) Clerk ) 00=02=00 The goods & the Children wth the Consent of the Supervisors is in the fathers hands who have given pledges according to Law.
