In the name of God Amen.  I Joney Sayle being sick and weak in body, but of
sound and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God do make this my last will
and testament in manner and form as followeth:
First I committ my soul unto God who gave it me and my body to christian
burial.
Item I leave unto the poor one sheep and one half firlett of meal. Item I
bequeath unto my son John my heir, my share of the crop of corn together
with my share of the team with all my part of the husbandry gears belonging
to the farm.
Item To the said Jo: one new pledge.
Item I leave unto my sister Kath Sayle one gray blanket.
Item to my brother James one quarter of a calf wearing of a year old. Item
to my brother Wm one white blanket.
Item to Margt Killey one kerchieff and to her daughter Margery a pair of
bodies and one apron.
Item I appoint both my living brothers Wm and James Sayle to be overseers
over  my children.
Item I constitute and ordain my daughters Margt and Joney and my son Patt:
my lawfull executors of all my goods moveable and immovable in the presence
of these witnessess whole names are hereunder written the day and year above
written.
Item I leave unto Jo:Cowley and Thos:Cannell six pence apiece. Witnesses:
Jo:Cowley my mark, Tho:Cannell my mark.
Margaret and Jony, being at age, are sworn in Court according to Law and to
be fair to ye others under age.
