Janry ye 29th 1689 ….. this day agreed upon betwixt Edmond, Richard & Jon Christian Children of Jon Christian late deceasd that whereas their sd father Jon Christian depted this life intestate whereby they are all jointly concernd in all the goods & chattels of their sd father, and to avoid all strife & division that might happen in the Administration of the sd goods, the sd brethren have agreed & concluded upon that in Consideration of all the part of goods due to the sd Richard & John by their fathers death the sd Edmond doth oblige himself to pay unto each of ye sd younger brethren the sum of four pounds ----- wthin four years after the date hereof wth -- year? dyett? a Caddow boulster blanket & sheet when they have --- for it or them, and thereupon the sd Richard & Jon have surrendered & given unto their sd brother Edmond ----- right ------ & interest in all manner of ----- Chattells faln to them by their fathers death ----- true pformance thereof bind themselves ---- ----- in penalty of twenty pounds ------ in the ----- of all other fines and to witness the same ----- their marks the ---- was above written Wm?
