Ann: Christian als Cannel departed this life about the 7th of 
October 1689 intestate, whereof the Church having intelligence
hath Decreed her children Jon and William sole and joint Admr
of all her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever;
The next of kindred on the mothers side Supervisors and a Legacy
to the husband upon sight of the Inventory.

In regard that none of the childrens ................ have
appeared to take ye Admin in ye childrens
behalfe, the husband is therefore sworn to Adminr
for them, to wch end he is to give in pledges.

Salvo tamen uinuig			Decretum est el Solivit .....
Suo jure 

The Inventory and pledges before the next Court Sub
poena .........

Att Duglass 11th Feb: 1689

Margt. Christian Sister in Law to the sd An: hath Deposed in Court
that there is nine pounds Due to her of her fathers goods
wch was in the sd. An: and her husbands hands.  Therefore the 
Court hath Decreed the one halfe thereof to be paid 
by the above Admin out of the sd. An: goods according
to law.

Also the above Tho: Christian Doth acknowledge that 
he hath five pounds of the payment money in his hands
wch he ........................................... therefore the 
one halfe is ........  and to be paid by the Admin according
to law.
