The last will & testamt. of Rich. Lace who departed this life 
ye 11th of June 1689 being in perfect memory.
Imprimis he committed his Soule to God & his body to Christian
buriall.  Itm. he left to his wife Joney Lace als Karran a quarter
of a cow as Legasie.  Itm he left to Finlo Karran a goat,
to Phillip Cottiman a goat & to Patt: Karran a pair of breeches.
Itm. he left ........ legasie to all ......... that should come to sue any
of his goods excepting those mentioned in his will.  Itm. he 
constituted appointed & ordained his wife & his only son Jon.
Lace joynt Execrs. of all the rest of his goods whatsoever 
She his said wife bringing up & maintaining ye sd child.  Itm.
He left that Tho: Cowley owed him one shilling.  Itm. that he 
........... owed to ye Curate of ye parish one shilling nine 
pence & in case the child ......... age his wife to have all the goods.

........ (Will: Bodough	) jurati	before the probate of the above will
					and having left the tuition of the child 
					& goods to Finlo Karran he is therefore
					sworn according to law as is expressed(?)
					ye wifes will.
