This is affirmed to be the last will 
of MARGT. QUAYLE ALS FARGHER who was 
in perfect memory at the making thereof. 
First, she committed her soul to God 
and body to Christian burial. 
Item, she bequeathed to the poor 1/2 furlet of meal. 
Item, to her SON HUGH QUAYLE whatever corn 
was due to her out of the farm, and all her 
part of the woolen yarn, and also a chest, 
and bedclothes with a sheet. 
Item, to her said SON all her part of the 
sheep that were betwixt her and him, and 
he to give his brother WILLIAM'S TWO SONS 
a lamb apiece. 
Item, to her DAUGHTER JONY her best suit 
with her shoes and stockings and a waistcoat 
of the above mentioned yarn when it's 
woven and dressed. 
Item, to her said DAUGHTER her share of 
the sheep between them, and she to give 
a lamb to her brother NICHOLAS'S SON. 
ITEM, SHE LEFT TO HER SAID son Nicholas a blanket. 
Item, to her SON JOHN'S DAUGHTER ELLIN 
a pail and trenchers and a quarter of a griddle. 
Item, to her SON JOHN'S DAUGHTER 
MARGARET an ewe lamb. 
Item, she bequeathed the Crofts (which 
they purchased) to her SON JOHN, and 
obliged him to give his brother WILLIAM 
a bowl of barley. Lastly, she constituted 
her 4 CHILDREN, VIZ., WILLIAM, HUGH, 
NICHOLAS & JONY QUAYLE joint Executors 
of the rest of her goods moveable and 
immoveable whatsoever.

THE EXECUTORS AT AGE ARE SWORN in 
Court according to Law. 

The Inventory of the above MARGARET 
QUAILE ALS FARGHER prized by 4 sworn 
men, viz., Giles Bridson, Thomas Tear, 
Richard Shimin, & Robert Shimin, 
amounts to 4 pounds 5 shillings 0 pence.
