Mr. EWAN CURGHEY SENIOR of Ballakillingan departed this 
life about the 17th of November last intestate, whereof 
the Court having intelligence have decreed his SON MR. 
EWAN CURGHEY JUNIOR sole Administrator of all his goods 
moveable and unmoveable whatsoever according to the 
Marriage Contract given unto him by his said father; 
the said Administrator having obliged himself to pay 
unto HIS SISTERS whatsoever part of their MOTHER's 
portion and Legacy left by the GRANDFATHER is yet 
unsatisfied, and all other debts as the Law shall require 
him, who is accordingly sworn in Court in form of Law. 
The Inventory within a month. 
Mr. EWAN CURGHEY SENIOR of Ballakillingan departed 
this life about the 17th day of November last intestate 
whereof the Court having intelligence have decreed his 
CHILDREN vizt., his 2 DAUGHTERS ISABELL & MA--- CHURGHEY, 
who never received any part of their father's goods to 
the value of six pence joint Administrators of all his 
goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever. 

A TRUE AND PERFECT INVENTORY of the moveable and unmoveable 
of Mr. EWAN CURGHEY SENIOR of Ballakillingan viewed and 
prized by four sworn men, vizt., William Curghey, Robert Kneal, 
William Curlet, and John Killey: 
Imprimis, The teame vizt, 6 oxen 8 pounds 10 shillings 0 pence; 
Item, 18 head of cattle young & old 11:0:0; 
Item, 9 horses young & old 10:0:0; 
Item, 66 sheep young and old at 18 pence apiece 4:19:0; 
Item, 8 geese 0:3:6; 
Item 6 swine 0:9:0; 
Item 2 ducks 0:0:5; 
The corn to be brought in per bowl. 
The barley at 8 pence per bowl 2:0:8; 
The oats good & bad at 2 pence per bowl 1:7:10;

The wheat being bad at 6 pence per bowl;

An bedstead in Rogers loft, 
   2 bedsteads in the kichin loft 1:0:0; 
A chest and old truck in the little

Three old feather beds, 2 bolsters 
   and all bedclothes within and without 2:8:6; 
A table and frame and press in the kitchen 
   loft and little table in the closet 0:10:0; 
2 old potts, gridiron, spit, and old wooden vessels 0:5:0; 
Noggins and trenchers 0:1:0; 
A cupboard in the kitchin with table frame & form 0:9:0; 
15 pound and 3 quarters of pewter at the per pound. 0:9:2; 
2 old brass pans 0:1:6; 
3 old xxx 6 pence, 6 pounds weight at 5 pence per 
   pound 2 shillings 6 pence 0:4:xx; 
Three old barrels 0:3:6; 
3 spoons of pewter 0:0:3; 
An old garden spade grope and turff spade 
   and an old broken hatchet 0:1:6; 
The price of steer hide sold for 0:1:10. 
The goods in the hands of the Executor who hath given 
pledges John Curlet and Robt Curghey according to Law. 
A true account of what corn is threshed since I came xxxxxx

In barley 5 bowls and a pottle, 
in placket 20 xxxx. 

XXX 2nd 1696
Mrs. MARGT CHRISTIAN enters her claim against the 
Executor of Mr. EWAN CURGHEY for the sum of six pounds sterling.

JOHN XTIAN enters for the sum of 3 pounds. 

March the 7th 1695/6
JO: MCNAMEER enters against the Administrators of 
Mr. EWAN CURGHEY for the sum of 6 shilling 8 pence &c.
