Articles of Marriage aggreed condiscended and concluded -----[torn] Bradson alias Quiggin in the behalfe of her daughter Isabel -----[torn] Leown with the consent of his mother Jane Caveen and his uncle -----[torn] ffolloweth Imprimis It is aggreed and concluded upon that the foresaid Henry L-----[torn] Christian shall enter into the state of holy matrimony betwixt the -----[torn] and midsummer next ensueing, God and holy church permitting the same It is aggreed and concluded upon that the foresd Catharine Quiggin mother -----[torn] Christian doth promise and grant unto her said daught, That she shall -----[torn] in the goods of her said mother, as her sister Elizabeth Christian att the Latter -----[torn] the mothers Life of all whatsoever belongs unto said mother; and that the -----[torn] Isabill shallbe in the same proportion equall with her sister Elizabeth -----[torn] mother is alive, as well as at the Latter day Moreover It is declard before these witnesses hereunto subscribed that the sa-----[torn] Catharin Quiggin, acknowledges, That there is twenty shillings to come into -----[torn] Spirill: bookes upon the behalfe of her daughters viz: Isabell and Elizabeth -----[torn] betwixt them; Besides three pounds ten shillings due to her daughter I-----[torn] as appears in the said Spirll: bookes It is aggreed and concluded upon, that Jane Caveen mother unto Henry Leown -----[torn] give and grand unto the young couple halfe of a young cowe that is with John -----[torn] weaver, and halfe of the calfe, of the said cowe, or else halfe of the calfe -----[torn] take their choice immediatly after the day of their marriage; together with -----[torn] share of the house and garden, she now lives in: one sheet, and five shilling -----[torn] money when the young couple pleases to call for the same, and halfe of all her moveable and immoveable at the Latter day: and the said young couple are to Looke well to their said mother, to give her good useage while she lives that her daughter Ellen Karran (alias) Leown is bound as deep and equal-----[torn] her husband Willm Karran; as the said Henry Leown and his wife so lo-----[torn] and give good useage unto the said Jane Caveen; being that they are like to -----[torn] doep in the exership: of their said mother.
