German The last will and testament of John Cannell who departed this life the 3rd of November anno domini 1696. First he committed his soul unto God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he left to the poor a firlet of barley and a sheep to be distributed by his executor. Item, to his maid Katherine Fargher half a heifer. Item, he constituted and appointed his grandson John Cannell sole executor of all his interest of house and lands and the rest of his goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever. Testes: Mat: Curghey, atrick Curlett, jurati. The Executor sworn in Court accordin to Law. Probatum est et solvit 1s. The Inventory next Court. April the 6th 1697 Will: Joughen enters against the executor of John Cannell for the sum of 10s due &c.
