Jurby This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of Tho: Kelly of Jurby who depted this life ye fift of December 1696, bein g in good and pfect memory in makeing his sd will as followeth: ffirst he bequeathed his soul to God & his body to Christian burial; Item he declared that there was due to his son in law Ffinloe Craine one payre of sheetts of his porcon, and for as much as he had noe sheets to pay him he desired him to keep ye Chest he had in 4s and vjd and a petticoat & apron in two shills: and a payre of shoes, in leiw of ye aforesaid payre of sheets. Item he alsoe declared that the stear that was betwixt him selfe and Willm: Kelly, that he was fully sattisfied and paid from ye sd William, or his halfe of ye stear, and if any was due that it was himselfe was in due to Willm: Kelly, and not Willm: Kelly to him. Itm: he bequeathed and left unto his son Patt: and to Capt Tho: Christian the cowe to be equall betwixt them, the wch cow he declared was excepted out of ye Contract Bargaine which cowe being then ye heffer, and he declared that what else was excepted in his sons Contract he bequeathed to his son Patt and Capt: Tho: Chrisitian if the law doe approve thereof. Itm: he bequeathed what he had of Hay & corne towards ye Expence of his funerall charges.
