The last will and testament of Thomas Gawn of committed his soul
to God and body to Christian buriall; It: he bequeathed to his loveing wife
twenty shillings, It: he bequeathed to his son Hen: Gawn half ye crop of corne
and halfe ye teame, and halfe of al ye husbandry geares whatsoever belonging
to land worke; It: he asked his wife would she give consent to leave
to his said son her halfe of ye cropp and teame after her death & she an=
swered, she would; It: he bequeathed to his said son a bedstid & caddow and
blankett, Itt: left to ye said son ye brewing pan, his chose chest, table and
frame, & forme fora corbe; It: left to ye said son six sheep and six lambs
and all his made clothes yt was fitt for ye use of ye said son; It: he no=
minated and appointed his daughter Issable and Margrett sole executrix
of all the rest of his goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, and
mention’s his brothers Henry & William overseers
The wife has in the fact of the Court consent=
ed to give (at her Decease) her part of the
crop & team such as it shall be to her eldest son as abovesd wit=
