September 18th Day 1699 

In the name of God Amen. I William Quayle
sick and weake in Boddy, but sound and perfect
in memory praised be God, doe make this my last
Will and Testamt. in manner following. First, I com-
mitt my Soul into the hands of Almighty God, and
my body to Christian burial,  Itt. he left to his
loving wife fo three sheep & an ew yearling of a yeare &
hald old,  Itt he left a cow to pay the debts, being five
and twenty shillings that he owed to me Tho Christian
Curate, si eight shillings and sixpence to Dolling Kelley,
two shillings to Tho Corlett, a shilling to his Brother Davie,
and seven pence to John Caine his wives Brother, &
if this cow be not sufficnt to pay all of debts, he
he left the rest to be paid out of the goods before the
goods are prized,  Itt he left his wearing ^coat to William
Cowley,  Itt he left his child William Executor of
all his goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever, and if
any pson, or psons, or sue for  of his kinfolks xx sue for
any of his goods, except those ??, he hath cut them 
of with sixpence, -----Itt he left both
the Child and goods in the hand of his wife and if the child
die under age all the goods are to return to his wife.
