Castletown The Last Will & Testament of Christopher Creer, who being Sick in Body but of a perfect memory (made this) 30th Janry 1699 First he committed his Soul to God & his body to Christian burial he bequeathed to his wife Ann Creer a lower half the whole house & garden during her natural life; he remembered that there is due from Thos Saint 3/4d wch he desires to be paid to his wife: Lastly he constitutes & appoints his children John, David & Ellinor to be whole & sole Executrs of all the rest of his goods move- able & immoveable whatsoever; & after their mothers decease that the whole house is to fall to them. As witness my hand the same day above written. Testes James Maddrell x } Robt Shimin x } Jur Christopher Creer The wife is sworn Supervisor in form of law, & the next of Kin to be sworn at Douglas Pledges James Maddrell & Robt Quirk Probatum Est, & Solvit 1d John & Wm Creer the Uncles of the children are sworn supervisors at Castletown 2 Febr 1699 Whereas James Maddrell & Robt Quirk are become Pledges for my Childrens goods; that no damage may accrue to thm thereby, I Ann Creer do hereby surrender to thm my half of the house & garden, where I now dwell, to wch they shall & may have a title, until the cleer inventory be paid my said children.
