Archdeacon Will 1700 #69 Lezayre of Ann Costean als Watterson, died 20 November 1700.

69                              KK Christ Lezaire Decembr ye 28th 1700
This affirmed to be the last will and testament of Ann Costen alias Watterson who departed this life
ye 20th of November as follows:
   ffirst she committed her soul to God and her bodie to Christian burial.
   Item she bequeathed her part of ye houses in Ramsey to her son William Costen.
   Item, she bequeathed to her three daughters viz: Katherine, Margret and Ann a blanket a peece.
   Item she bequeathed to her daughter Marjory all her cloathes.
   Item, shee bequeathed to her daughter Ann a black petticoat and as much sad couler cloath as would
 be her another coat.
   Item, she bequeathed to ye sd Ann halfe a chist.
   Item, she bequeathed to her son her part of sheep.
   Item, she bequeathed the chist, that she found in the house, to be left in ye house as she found it.
   Item, she bequeathed to her daughter Mar----[?Marjory] a little chist.
   Item she bequeathed to her husband as much linnen as woud serve him to ye grave and to her four
 daughters a sheet apeece if there would be so many after the death of her husband.
   Item, she bequeathed to her husband her part of ye mortgaged land they had in ye Gary during his life,
 and after his death to return to her children.
   Lastly she constituted and appointed her loving husband Simon Costean Executor of all her goods
 moveable and immoveable whatsoever.

The Excr sworn in Court in form of Law.  Probatum ext et Solvit 1s.  Pledges in form of Law the witnesses of the will.

9th March 1701/2:  John Cannell enters his claim agt the Execrs of Anne Waterson als Costen for the summe of 20s due &c.
