This is affirmed by the witnessed to 
be the last will and testament of 
THOMAS QUAYLE who was there of perfect 
memory committed his soul to God and 
body to Christian burial, who departed 
this life about the 1st of January last.  
Item, he bequeathed to his NIECE 
ANN QUAYLE one sheep legacy.  
Item, to any person of his relations 
that could lawfully claim any of his 
goods 6 pence apiece legacy, and if 
his SON XXXX QUAYLE should live or 
come to lawful age he constituted 
and appointed him sole Executor of 
all his goods whatsoever and otherwise 
it should happen that God should call 
for the said child before he came to 
age as aforesaid, that then and in 
that case he appointed his WIFE 
MARGRETT CALLOW sole Executrix.  
The Testator declared that there was 
due to him these debts following from 
these several persons: due from his 
BROTHER JOHN KELLY in K Michell 
1 pound 14 shillings 0 pence;    
Item, from Patrick Kewley 1:0:;  
Item, from David McLeroy 1:0:0.  
Witnesses present: 
Edmund Quayle, 
Willm Joughin, jurati.            

THE WIFE SWORN in Court according to the will.  
Probatum est et Solvit 1s.         

THE INVENTORY BROUGHT IN  amounts to 4:00:00.  
The crop and sheep to be brought in.  
The child and goods in the ands of the 
wife and has given pledges Johs Losher[?] 
and Wm Loony.
