This is affirmed to be the last will of 
Gilbert Tear who departed this life 
about ye 6th of Janry 1705 being of 
perfect mind & memory at ye making 
thereof. First he committed his soul to 
Gd & his Body to Xtian Burial.  
To his granddaughter Joney Tear his 
part of a cow.  To John Tear 6d legacy.  
To Jane Tear 6d legacy.  To Mich: 
Cowle 6d legacy.  To Dan: Tear his 
part of an heifer wch was in his own 
hands.  Lastly he appointed Patrick 
& John Teare his true & joint Execrs 
of all ye rest of his goods moveable & 
immoveable whatsoever.  To his 
grandson John Tear he left ye Croft 
as heirship, he being ye fourth tenent.

Dan: Tear, jurati.                        

John Tear being under age his father 
Patrick is sworn in form of Law.  
Probatum est & Solvit 1s.                     

The Inventory is gross give in by Patrick 
one of ye Execrs amounts in ye whole to

The rest of ye goods to pay debts.   
Pledges given in by Patrick are ye
