13     KK Andrews June 3rd 1707
Thomas Lace departed this life about the 
15 April 1706 intestate, whereupon the 
Church hath decreed this two sons unmarried 
vizt., Stephen & William Lace his joint 
Administrators of all his goods moveable 
and immoveable, who are sworn in form of 
Law: and a legacy to the wife upon sight 
of the Inventory. 

The Inventory in gross amounts to 3 pounds 14 shillings 0 pence. 
Pledges to secure the office and pay all debts 
the mother & brother Daniel in form of Law. 

The above William Lace out of his dutiful respect 
of his mother hath voluntarily and freely given 
and surrendered all the right & interest he has 
to a certain parcel of torn ground in the Ayr, 
about three half pence yearly rent in the whole, 
unto his said mother Cath: Lace and to her Executors forever.
As witness his mark to his name the 3rd June 1707.
