Conchan 1707 This is affirmed to be ye last will & testament of John Christian who departed this life ye 22d of November last being in perfect mind & memory at ye making thereof First he committed his soul to God & his body to Christian burial. Item, He left to his Son Thomas his half team half crop & half husbandry gears if he did not mar :ry Bahee Cotter; but if he would marry Bahee Cotter he left him but six pence legacy. It: He left his youngest daughter Dorothy ten shillings. It: He left his Son James ten shillings if he would come & demand any thing. It: He left his wife half a choice cow. It: He left Elizabeth Cown two sheep. Lastly he constituted & appointed his five children John Mary Isabel Marg’t & Dorothy true & lawfull Execut’rs of all ye rest of his goods moveable & unmoveable whatsoever.
