26 At Ramsey 30th Octr. 1707 Ewan Curphy having inform’d ye Court That Edward Garret ( who hath been many years abroad & not heard off for some time past ) hath Some effects in ye Island and Supporting ye … Garret hath departed this Life intestate. The Court hath therefore decreed his next of all his goods moveable & immoveable Relations, his true & joynt Admrs. ^on ye Father & mother Side. None of ye Relations appearing __ [part] Ewan Curphy’s wife ^is sworn in Court in form of Law Salvo tamen unicuig Decretum est & Solvit Juo jure The Inventory to be brought in next Court Pledges for ye forthcoming of ye goods Balla [dromeey] & Securing ye office are [Wm] Curphy ^ & Edmond Quark [Baldere] July 31 . 1708.
